Previewing the work
All auctioned work will be available to preview on www.limerickprintmakers.com before the auction or from 7.30pm on Saturday 18th, the auction night.

Registering to bid
Once you have established that you want to bid on an item you need to register on the night with Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery at the registration desk in the Charlotte Suite. Please allow plenty of time to register before the auction start at 8pm.

Like many auctions we will be using a paddle bidding system. If you wish to bid you can register before or during the sale, providing your name and address, phone number at the registration desk. In exchange, you are given a paddle – a card printed with your personal number for the sale.

At the end of the sale, or when you have finished bidding, please return your paddle to the registration table.

Bidding
Once you have registered for a sale and you have been issued with a paddle, you are then you are ready to bid. To bid, raise your paddle clearly and promptly, allowing sufficient time for the auctioneer to acknowledge your bid and also note your number upon the success of your bid. If there is any doubt about the hammer price or buyer, please draw this to the attention of the auctioneer immediately.

If you are successful in your bidding you can then proceed to the payment and collection table in the reception area beside the bar. If you would like to bid on further lots in the sale you can pay for all your items together at the end of the sale.

Payment
The price you pay is the amount at which the auctioneer’s hammer falls (the hammer price). When you go to the payment and collection table in the reception area beside the bar for payment you will be issued with an invoice made out to the name and address on your Registration Form. Part (20% deposit) or full payment must be made immediately. If you have paid in full your work will be wrapped and you can take your items away.

If you are paying a deposit (20%) or cannot collect the work immediately please bring this to the attention of the payment and collection table so alternative arrangements can be made.

Methods of Payment
Cheque. Please make payable to ‘Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery’. Cheques drawn by third parties cannot be accepted. Credit Cards. All major credit cards are accepted. Cash.
