Bursary Schemes for LSAD Graduates

The LSAD(L.I.T)/Limerick Printmakers Studio and Gallery Printmaking Degree Graduate Bursary Scheme

The Limerick School of Art and Design, (L.I.T.), Printmaking Degree Graduate Bursary Scheme consists of one year’s membership, which enables the selected graduate to have immediate and full access to Limerick Printmakers, a professional printmaking studio for a year after leaving college. 
The selected Graduate Printmaker is also awarded an exhibition held in Limerick Printmakers Gallery at the end of their year. This exhibition features work produced in the studio during the year and provides a vital first step in continuing their career as a professional artist  

From 2013 there will also be two additional bursaries on offer, entitling both recipients to one year of full studio membership

Limerick Printmakers are currently taking applications from LSAD Printmaking Degree students for the 2013-2014 Printmaking Degree Graduate Bursary Scheme. The closing date is 29th May 2013

The 2012 - 2013 Tom Fox Painting Award

 

2012-2013 is the inaugural year of the Tom Fox Painting Award, a new bursary that is kindly being supported by the Fox family to commemorate the life and work of Tom Fox, the prolific Limerick artist. Prior to his passing in September 2010 he exhibited extensively both in Ireland and internationally.

This award was created in his name by the Fox family to encourage a LSAD graduate painting student in the process of establishing a career by providing the means to allow them to hold a solo exhibition in a predominant gallery space in Limerick. Limerick Printmakers Studio and Gallery are honoured to be associated with this bursary.

Her exhibition 'No Diesel' will run from the 2nd - 25th May 2013

Limerick Printmakers are currently taking applications from LSAD Painting Degree students for the 2013-2014 Tom Fox Painting Award. The closing date is 20th May 2013
