The annual winter show in Limerick Printmakers is a selection of work from 40 studio members. These new works showcase the best of printmaking in the mid west region. This year’s exhibition promises to be colour filled and vibrant with the energetic abstract monoprints of Fiona Quill. The beautiful digitally printed fabric of Meg Kenny and the colourful repeat patterns in the collographs of Gavin Hogg. All the prints in the exhibition are framed or ready for hanging and will all be available for sale and for collection before Christmas. Unframed work will also be available for sale in the display area.

Printmaking is a very affordable way to buy art of high quality and of a collectable nature.  In Limerick Printmakers we give the unique opportunity every year for members of the public to become ‘Friends of Limerick Printmakers’.  This special sponsorship scheme gives you the opportunity to directly support Limerick Printmakers and assist the arts in Limerick. Scheme participants donate €250 for one year to the studio and in return receive a Box Set of limited edition collectable prints by current studio members, 10% discount on all art works purchased from the gallery and invitations to all exhibitions and events held at the gallery. This years Box Set will be available from opening night onwards.

If you have always wondered how prints were made, and would like to learn from some of the best printmakers in Limerick, Why not try a weekend workshop? These comprise of two-day intensive courses and we have a variety of choices from beginners to advanced in Etching, Silkscreen and Collograph including a new course in mezzotint in the New Year.

We are now enrolling for kid’s art classes in starting in January. These classes cater from children aged between 5 and 17. We have experienced teachers who teach arts and craft including printmaking, teaching assistants and a comprehensive childcare policy

The gallery is open Monday to Friday 11am to 5.30pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. The winter member’s exhibition will close at 5.30pm on Tuesday the 23rd December.
