Children's classes are run in the gallery when it is closed to the general public. The gallery has new exhibitions every three weeks and this allows children to access contemporary art whilst engaging in their own work. The curriculum is wide and varied during the term. It encompasses drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and clay work.

All materials are provided and a 10% discount is available for a 2nd child from the same family. All children's courses are taught in the gallery space with a fully trained teacher and teaching assistant in place.

Limerick Printmakers have a child protection policy in place in accordance with recommended guidelines. Please contact the studio for further details.

Adult courses are also available, details are listed below. They range from t-shirt and fabric printing, monoprinting and etching to life drawing and an introduction to painting and drawing.

Limerick Printmakers welcome any enquiries from individuals or groups with an interest in participating in courses or workshops.  Over the years Limerick Printmakers have held a number of printmaking workshops and art and craft workshops. They have been held not only in the studio but also in a variety of locations from schools to libraries and have all proved extremely successful.
