 artists statement:

I use monoprinting as my main medium for printmaking; I also work with etching and lithography. I would generally use these in conjunction with one another. My work is very layered so to achieve depth I often use mixed media.

The figure and landscape are central themes to my work. The images are created using colour as the dialogue between the piece I'm working on and me. As I work the layers of colour build to give deep tones and hues of rich colours. This is because the images are semi - abstract and the colour becomes as important as the image itself.
