 artists statement:  

I use oil and acrylic paint, pastel, pen and ink, and linocut. The central theme in my work is the human figure, which I use to explore different styles and techniques. My images tend to have a strong graphic quality, which reflects an interest in areas such as book illustration , stained glass design, and  woodcarving.
