artists statement:

At the moment I am using the medium of screen printing and am investigating its potential. I am also interested in photography which I use regularly to inform my work.

Although my subject matter changes, it is primarily landscape based. The central theme to date has been contrast, in particular stark contrast between dark and light, between line and space and how this mirrors the contrast between the thoughts we have and the choices we can make.

In 2007 I am interested in combining painting and screen printing due to their contrasting results. I will also be investigating what other materials can be screen printed on, in an attempt to increase the number of people that can both see the work and purchase it.
