The preview of X , a Box Set of Fine Art Prints to Celebrate 10 Years of Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery and RTÉ Lyric fm was a great success at RTÉ lyric fm Birthday celebration with the National Symphony Orchestra in the National Concert Hall Dublin over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The Limerick preview was held at the University Concert Hall the same weekend where Limerick Printmakers formally presented the box set to Aodán Ó Dubhghaill the Director of RTÉ Lyric fm.

The official launch will be at 8pm on Thursday 25th June at the Georgian House & Garden, No2 Pery Square, Limerick where a framed set will be on show there until the 9th July. All are welcome
A big thank to you everyone who came on the night and supported Limerick Printmakers Print Auction and Postcard Raffle. The night was a great success with €5,000 raised which will go towards 'X' the Lyric Box Set Project and our running costs for the year.

Impact 6 Printmaking Conference 2009
We would like to thank Dave Lilburn and Mike Byrne from Hotbed Press (they are also two of our own studio members), for donating a huge Natgraph Silkscreen Press bed size 218cm X 142cm to Limerick Printmakers. We are delighted to say the press is currently installed and in good working order!

7pm Live Weblink from BerlinEnda O'Donoghue will be broadcast live via weblink from Berlin to talk about his current show in Limerick Printmakers Gallery.
After_Joe Blogs is a display of Enda's current series of work. This series looks to the Internet as a source for photographic imagery. Enda goes to painstaking detail to transform these works into his large scale paintings which immediately confront the viewer with everyday scenes of life, bus journeys, queues, people at prayer.
Find out how Enda makes his paintings and why? Ask questions, join a discussion with Enda. or just observe.
8pm Printmaking Demonstrations
Always wondered how prints are created?? Come and watch the printmakers in their studio giving demonstrations in Etching, Silkscreen and Mezzotint.
9pm Portfolio Display
See finished prints in the Artist's portfolios. Artists and Printmakers will be around to chat about their work, How they made it, What inspired them.
Join us on Friday evening for a night of chat, demos, art and refreshments including beer and wine
