Artists are invited to submit work/proposals to Limerick Printmakers Open Submission Print Show. The exhibition is open to artists working in all areas of print e.g. digital print or mixed media works with an element of print as well as traditional forms. We will accept up to three prints or works from each artist. If an artist wishes to submit an installation with an element of print, then proposals are welcome, provided a detailed proposal and samples of previous work are included in the application. Normally up to 60 works are selected for the exhibition.

Previous selectors include Siobhan Piercy, Head of Printmaking GMIT, printmaker Coilin Murray, Chris Doswell of the Doswell Gallery and formerly the Limerick Small Print Exhibition.

This years selector will be Suzannah O’Reilly. Suzannah is a practising printmaker / artist and also a part time lecturer. She holds an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from the Crawford College of Art and Design. She has exhibited in many solo and group shows and her work is in many public and private collections in Ireland, UK and USA.

Work on show has included prints from artists based in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, the Netherlands, Canada and America. Also included in previous exhibitions have been a portfolio of prints titled ‘Green Worlds’ by Exchange Partners in Print Media in New South Wales, Australia.
